Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website and the submission of items to Wave One Holdings LLC (“Wave One,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
Wave One is an Arizona, USA-based company that acquires and resells high-value trading cards and promotional products, using its own company capital. We prioritize Riftbound, One Piece, and Gundam, and may review other high-value items at our discretion.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use this site or submit an item.
3. Submitting an item
- Submitting an item is a request for review. It does not obligate Wave One to purchase anything and does not create a binding sale.
- You represent that the information and photos you provide are accurate, and that you own the item (or are authorized to sell it) and have the right to transfer it free of undisclosed claims.
- You agree not to submit stolen, counterfeit, altered, or misrepresented items.
- By uploading photos or files, you grant Wave One a limited, non-exclusive license to use them for the purpose of evaluating your submission and communicating with you.
- Wave One evaluates submissions and may choose, at its discretion, whether or not to make an offer.
4. Offers
Where Wave One makes an offer, it reflects our determination of current market value for the specific item. For qualifying items we choose to purchase, we pay 80% of the market value we determine. Accepting an offer expresses your interest in proceeding; the transaction is completed under separately agreed transaction terms. Offers may expire or be revised if the item, its condition, or relevant market information differs from what was submitted.
5. Transactions and escrow
For qualifying remote transactions where escrow is used, Wave One funds the agreed purchase through an approved independent third-party escrow provider before shipment, and covers the escrow service fee. Wave One is not an escrow provider and does not hold escrow funds. The escrow provider’s own terms govern how and when funds are released. Fee coverage applies only to the escrow service fee and not to taxes, shipping, insurance, wire fees, or other costs unless separately agreed in writing.
6. Not financial or investment services
Wave One is a buyer and reseller of collectible trading-card assets. We are not an investment adviser, investment fund, brokerage, or wealth-management company, and we do not manage outside investor capital. Nothing on this site is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site to:
- break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- submit fraudulent, misleading, or infringing content;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems; or
- interfere with the site’s operation, security, or other users.
8. Intellectual property
The Wave One name, logo, site design, and content are owned by Wave One or its licensors and are protected by law. Trading-card artwork, character names, and game titles are the property of their respective owners; their appearance here does not imply any affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement. These Terms do not grant you any license to our or others’ intellectual property.
9. Third-party links and services
This site may link to or rely on third-party websites and services (such as escrow, hosting, or form-delivery providers). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, terms, or practices.
10. Disclaimers
This site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wave One and its owners, members, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of this site.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Wave One harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the site or your breach of these Terms, including any submission of items you were not authorized to sell.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
